Whisper Valley

Whisper Valley is an environmentally-friendly, 2,000-acre development committed to sustainability, affordability, and cutting-edge technology. The 2,000- acre community includes 7500 homes, two schools, restaurants, retail and emergency services. Thanks to advanced technology and innovative products, it is now possible for homes to be energy self-sufficient. By reducing consumption using high-efficiency geothermal heat pumps and producing power using photovolatic (PV) solar panels, a home can become zero-energy capable.

Whisper Valley 2

Francis Solar, in partnership with Eco-smart Solution and Taurus LP, designed a district thermal system and renewable energy systems for the 7500-home master planned community of Whisper Valley. The individual residences were aided by Francis "solar-ready" design, and will feature between 4-6 Kw DC systems, including Canadian Solar Panels and Fronius Inverters. Because of the geothermal HVAC systems in each house and other energy efficiency measures, the homes can attain net-zero status without over sizing the solar arrays. Upon completion, the Whisper Valley community will feature 35 MW of solar!
