We at Fronius Solar Energy have understood sustainability holistically for 30 years, and we are acting in the interest of future generations. This is why we attach utmost importance to all aspects of sustainability.

Since day one, we have combined innovation and efficiency to develop products and solutions that are helping create a livable future based on 100% renewable energy.

Sustainably designed, sustainably made

In line with our maxim “Sustainably designed, sustainably made”, our products are not only created in an especially resource-friendly way but are also designed for superior durability and reparability. So we attach great importance to the conscious use of resources – be it product materials, the means of production, or employees.

We use recycled and recyclable materials whenever possible. In production design, we make sure that components require little space and resources and can be easily replaced, if necessary. This is confirmed by our life cycle analyses, which have been audited by the renowned Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration IZM.

100% electronic energy on site from renewable sources
Purchase of approx. 2,000 MWh energy from own PV systems
81% of energy consumption - including mobility and maintenance - from renewable sources

Only individual parts and affected components need to be replaced instead of replacing the entire unit

Made in Austria: 100% of all metal components and electronic prints

35 % CO2 reduction in logistics (from 2017 - 2020)
